2005 Mustang Supercharger
Since the
1960s, Ford Mustang has always had a loyal following.
Most classic car enthusiasts have been excited in anticipation
of greeting every new mustang model that yearly rolls off the
mustang production line. This sleek machine of a car
represents innovative speed and style at much more affordable
prices than other cars in its class. The 2005 Mustang
Supercharger is pleasing to the eye and provides a great
performance.
This mustang model contains a number of mechanical innovations
that contribute to its mass appeal. The outstanding 2005
Mustang specs include a hauling 3 valve 4.6 liter single
overhead cam engine and a Vortech centrifugal supercharger
which is ready to rock and roll. With a high flow fuel pump
and an optional air to water charge cooler, the engine is able
to achieve tremendous horse power up to 575hp. Talk about
POWER! I can just feel my ears pin to my head just thinking
about it! Not to mention the re-enforced live axle rear
suspension system providing a much smoother ride but due to
it's low profile beware of speed bumps and potholes etc.
This baby can really humm. Anyone who has ever driven a
Mustang knows the sound of that engine. It makes a loud and
distinctive sound and the 2005 Mustang Supercharger version is
no exception. The engine going from a purr to a roar is sweet
music to any mustang fan, who are swept away by the 0 - 60 mph
acceleration in only 3.6 seconds. Mustang trials showed that a
maximum speed of 122mph was possible and that cornering
ability is excellent. The only downside is that gear changing
is frequently required, a small price to pay for such powerful
performance.
The model was nominated for the North American Car of the Year
for 2005 in a Motor Trend 2005 Mustang Article. The 2005
Mustang Supercharger has mixed the classic with the new and
produced the best of both worlds. IF you are in the market to
buy a 05 Mustang, we will be glad to list your request or if
you want to sell one, Buy Old Cars will be glad to sell it.
It is a definite classic car for the future!
